In this panoramic view of East Head, I sought to capture that quintessential summer moment when sunlight transforms the Solent into liquid silver.

The wild marram grass in the foreground, painted with vigorous brushstrokes, frames the vast expanse of water and sky beyond, while the Isle of Wight emerges along the horizon like a distant sentinel.

Working with a palette of luminous yellows and deep emeralds against silvery blues, I aimed to convey not just the visual beauty of West Wittering's natural beach, but the feeling of a perfect summer day - when the light dances across the water and the coastal breeze rustles through the dunes.
