Looking towards the South Downs from East Head, I painted this scene at around 3 pm when the light was perfect. The low tide created mesmerising reflections that I hope draw you in.

Stand with me at the shoreline. Feel the vastness of the view – from the sweeping dunes to the water's edge. The clouds that day were extraordinary, offering a dramatic palette of colours that brought the whole scene to life.

I've tried to capture that balance between land, sky and sea. It's my hope that when you look at this painting, you'll feel transported to this special stretch of coastline, where nature puts on a magnificent show.
