I've aimed to highlight the innate innocence and purity of puffins. To me, their expressions are both captivating and endearing.

By experimenting with fresh (but familiar) techniques, I wanted to allow the puffin's character to truly shine.

I've chosen a subdued background to ensure the intensity of the eyes remains at the heart of the piece, drawing you in without distraction.
