When I first visited Scotland I went to a place called Knoydart. This place was the beginning of my love affair with Scotland. I was 18 at the time and I haven't looked back. wandering the highlands for me gives me a real sense of peace and safety. This painting was from a memory rather than being descriptive, but was from an adventurous walk around the peninsular of Knoydart, a place i will never forget.
